Join us for a guided riverside walk and hear about our plans to improve the River Keekle near Whitehaven, and why river restoration is desperately needed.
The walk is around 2.5km and will take about 90 minutes. It’s gentle but there is some rough ground. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Wear wellies or walking boots, sensible clothing and waterproofs.
We’ll also have maps, proposed designs, technical drawings and historic information about the site on display in the car park, along with children’s activities throughout the day.
