Meeting on the second Thursday of the month, the Cocker Catchment Volunteer Group helps with practical conservation tasks ranging from tree and hedge planting to invasive species management.
Where: Blaze Beck, near Whinlatter
When: Thursday 10th November, 10am-3pm
What: Tree Maintenance and wire removal
Please bring waterproofs, clothing suitable for the weather, wellies, lunch, drinks and gloves if you have them.
Tools will be provided.
No experience necessary. There will be a hill walk to the work site and you need to be comfortable working on a slope.
