Community Pond Planting Day

  • St Benedict's Catholic School CA28 8UG (map)

When: Sat 15 Nov, 10am-1pm

Where: St Benedict’s Catholic School Pond, Whitehaven ///heeding.guesswork.inflamed

What: Over the past few weeks, students have been working hard to improve the pond area by clearing overgrown rushes to make space for new plants, building winter homes for amphibians and reptiles and designing an information board to share facts about the pond and its wildlife.

Now it’s your turn to get involved! Come and help us plant native aquatic plants that support local wildlife and biodiversity.

No experience is necessary and we will provide all the tools and plants.
