Uncover the incredible world of lichens hiding in plain sight! Join us for a friendly, jargon-free introduction to these fascinating, air-cleaning organisms that coat our trees, rocks, and soil. We’ll start at the rugby club with a brief presentation on what lichens actually are and why they matter, then head outside for a guided walk to practice spotting and identifying local species up close. Perfect for complete beginners.

Access: Suitable for most fitness levels. The walk is mostly on surfaced paths, with brief excursions into woodland on uneven ground.
