Wellbeing in Nature - Sun Printing

  • Moresby Rugby Union Club Moresby Parks CA28 8XW (map)

Looking for a way to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy the great outdoors? Our Wellbeing in Nature sessions are all about good company, fresh air, and trying your hand at something different. Whether it’s sharing a story around the campfire, getting stuck into a bit of woodcraft, foraging or simply enjoying the peace of the trees, there’s something for everyone each week.

Spending time outside has loads of benefits—it can boost your mood, ease stress, and give you a real sense of connection (to both nature and good craic with others!). Plus, it’s just a great excuse to get active, get outdoors and do something fun.

Come along and join us in the woodlands as part of the Wilder Walkmill project. No pressure, no experience needed - just bring yourself and see what it’s all about!

When: Tue 20 May, 10am-12pm

Where: Walkmill Community Woodland (meet at Moresby Rugby Union Club)

What: We will start the morning with a walk through the woodlands to gather natural materials for our prints. Then we will head back to the rugby club where we will use pretreated cyanotype paper to create our own nature-inspired cyanotype prints (also known as sun prints as we’ll be using the power of the sun).

No experience is necessary and we will provide all the tools and materials.
