Leave A Legacy
Legacy donations can have a huge impact on our charity. By leaving West Cumbria Rivers Trust a gift in your will, you can leave a lasting legacy for nature in our community. Your money will fund projects that protect the rivers and wildlife into the future.
We appreciate all donations, no matter the size. These are three different types of charitable gifts that you can leave in your will:
Residuary legacy donations You can specify a percentage of your estate to give to West Cumbria Rivers Trust. The percentage is calculated once every other element of your will has been fulfilled
Percuniary legacy donations You can leave a specific monetary amount to West Cumbria Rivers Trust.
A specific item You can choose to leave West Cumbria Rivers Trust a specific item (this could be anything from a painting to a house).
Any money you leave to West Cumbria Rivers Trust will be spent wisely and will make a difference in conservation projects. This could mean removing artificial barriers so fish can move freely, it could be creating new habitats, planting trees and developming new wetlands, it could be our education work teaching school children to love and care for their rivers. With your help, we can ensure our rivers are thriving ecosystems for nature and people.
